E.B. Foundation Story

The E.B. Foundation honors the memory of Elliot Batcheller, a beloved friend whose passion for golf and love for children inspired us all. Elliot's memory lives on through our foundation.

Shortly after Elliot's passing, we hosted a memorial tournament to honor our friend. With the outstanding turnout, a couple of us decided we should make this an annual event and donate all the proceeds back to local youth golf programs. The next two years went over so well that we decided to create an official 501-C non profit organization. Currently the board consists of Tad Leistico, Josh "Woody" Krommendyk, Jason Schutz, and Chris Gustafson. We look forward to honoring our friend for years to come.

Created by a group of friends who grew up together, the E.B Foundation is a testament to Elliot's enduring spirit and his love for both the game of golf and the kiddos. Our mission is to grant every child the opportunity to learn, develop, and enhance life skills through the game of golf. We are committed to providing access to golf supplies, instruction, and support, empowering kids to thrive both on and off the course.

At the E.B Foundation, our philosophy is rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to discover their potential and build a brighter future. Guided by the legacy of Elliot, our foundation is built on three core values: passion, community, and opportunity.

We believe in fostering a passion for golf that transcends the sport itself, instilling in children a love for learning, perseverance, and personal growth. Through the support of our community of friends, sponsors, and volunteers, we strive to create an inclusive environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Our goal is to provide opportunities for children to develop essential life skills, such as teamwork, resilience, and leadership, both on and off the golf course. Together, we are dedicated to honoring Elliot's memory by making a lasting impact in the lives of children, one swing at a time.
